At XM social responsibility is more than an ideal, it is an active reality. We feel it is our duty to give back to the communities we serve, particularly in their most dire times of need. Such an opportunity presented itself last month when more than 5,000 people had to be evacuated from their homes due to the severe flooding that hit Malaysia.

In direct response to this event, the XM team coordinated with its local representatives in Malaysia to initiate a constructive effort to deliver aid to those in need. Everybody involved moved quickly to identify and source the items most needed by victims which consisted mostly of basic household good and supplies, in addition to food and medication.

XM allocated thousands of dollars towards ensuring that the overall effort was executed quickly and effectively. Overall our local representatives reported that the initiative was a resounding success and that all items were distributed to grateful recipients.

We realize that it will take time to restore the affected areas and homes to their former condition, but wish the people of Malaysia a speedy recovery and we are happy that we were able to provide some relief and assistance to those affected.
